Wagering Requirements: What x30 Actually Means
A multiplier such as x30 is only part of a bonus condition. To calculate the required turnover, you also need the amount it applies to and the proportion of each stake that counts.
Find the base before multiplying
Consider a hypothetical deposit of 100 units and a bonus of 50. If x30 applies to the bonus alone, the required credited turnover is 50 × 30 = 1,500 units. If the same multiplier applies to the deposit plus bonus, it is 150 × 30 = 4,500 units.
The headline multiplier is identical, but the requirement triples. These examples illustrate different possible terms; they do not describe a current Lucky Bear promotion or establish which terms any operator uses.
Account for the contribution rate
Suppose the remaining credited turnover is 1,500 units. If an eligible game contributes 100% of stakes, 1,500 units of actual turnover satisfy that numerical requirement. At a 20% contribution rate, the required actual turnover becomes 1,500 ÷ 0.20 = 7,500 units.
A ten-unit stake would add only two units of progress in the second case. A game that contributes zero makes no progress at all. Check both eligibility and contribution; appearing in the game catalogue does not establish either.
Turnover is not a deposit or a balance
A requirement to wager 7,500 units does not mean depositing 7,500 units, and it does not mean losing exactly that amount. Turnover accumulates as stakes are placed, potentially reusing prior returns. The balance can nevertheless reach zero before the target is completed.
A rough multiplication involving RTP cannot tell you the probability of completing a bonus. That would require the payout distribution and the actual rules, including how play stops, how balances are used and what happens at conversion.
Read the conditions that the formula omits
Record the expiry date and time zone, maximum permitted stake, excluded games, cash-out restrictions and any maximum convertible winnings. Check whether buying a game feature counts differently and what cancelling a bonus does to each balance.
For a useful written summary, note: “base 50, multiplier 30, contribution 20%, credited target 1,500, equivalent turnover 7,500.” Keep that calculation alongside the full terms rather than treating it as a replacement for them.
If the base or contribution is unclear, ask the operator for clarification before accepting the offer. A larger advertised bonus is not automatically easier or cheaper to complete.
